LOWELL, MA - The Lowell Spinners, short-season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, have released their schedule for the upcoming 2017 season. Lowell will host the Vermont Lake Monsters on Monday, June 19th and Tuesday, June 20th to kick off the season at LeLacheur Park.
The Spinners, coming off their winningest season in team history in 2016, will host 38 home games this season. The schedule includes a pair of six-game home stands (one in July and one in August), one five-game home stand in September, six three-game home stands throughout the season, one two-game home stand to open the season in June, and a single game on July 3rd, just in time for the Fourth of July.
"We are so excited to release our schedule for the upcoming season!" said Spinners owner Dave Heller "We are looking forward to welcoming our fans back for another season of Spinners baseball and providing our great fans with the most fun, affordable and fan-friendly entertainment anywhere in the Merrimack Valley. Next year's calendar will include great new promotions, fantastic new ballpark improvements, more giveaways, even a couple of new rides and attractions. I can't wait for the season to start!"
Though the team's promotional schedule has yet to be released, the Spinners are excited to announce the return of two fan-favorite promotions. Star Wars Night will be held on Saturday, July 8th and Princess Night will be held on Friday, August 4th. Additional promotions will be announced in the coming weeks.

For those who can't contain their excitement for next season, the Spinners will be hosting a yard sale at LeLacheur Park on Saturday, November 12 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Items on sale include game-worn jerseys, hats, pants, cleats, and special discounts on Spinners apparel throughout the team store.
