Augusta Sports Leagues Host Softball/Kickball Finals at Lake Olmstead Stadium
Fall League Finals to be held on Thursday, December 1st

Augusta, GA - The Augusta Sports Leagues, LLC (ASL) in partnership with the Augusta GreenJackets, will be hosting their Fall Adult League final for Kickball and Softball on Thursday, December 1st. Gates will open up at 6PM with the Softball Championship Game going on first between the visiting #3 seed, Team Chaos (7-2) and the undefeated #1 seed, GA Dawgs (8-0). The Kickball Championship game will begin right after the Softball game (7:45) and the two teams who will be going head-to-head will be the visiting #5 seed Durty Gurl Cocktails (7-3) and the #2 seed, Cobra Kai (9-1). This is an open event and admission is FREE!

Concessions will be open featuring food and drink specials.

  • Iced Cold $2 - 16oz draft beer all night long.
  • Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers, Nachos & Cheese
  • Coca-Cola Fountain Soda, Water & Iced Tea

 

"Augusta Sports League is excited to be able to partner up with the GreenJackets to offer adults a chance in a lifetime to be able to play at the same venue as some of the up and coming MLB players," stated ASL League Director, Keith Edmondson. "Not only is this event open to all the ASL Fall League teams, but it is also open to the public! What's better than some good competition, ballpark food and some cold drinks?"

The ASL will be holding a Participation Contest during the Championship games. All ASL Fall 2016 teams (not playing in the finals) will check in at the gate. The team with the largest percentage of players present will win a $50 Restaurant Gift Card.

The Augusta GreenJackets would like to remind everyone that outside food and drink are not permitted in Lake Olmstead Stadium. Bases will be set at standard 70 feet distance and low profile cones to mark bunt and outfield lines.

Augusta Sports Leagues, LLC is the premier recreational sports and social experience for adults in the greater Augusta area (CSRA). ASL seeks to build community for adults of all ages through recreation and social opportunities.
