Duvall, Adleman headline Reds Caravan guests

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Adam Duvall and Tim Adleman will headline the annual Reds Caravan stop at Louisville Slugger Field on Thursday, January 26 from 6-8:30 p.m. Minor League right-handed pitcher, Sal Romano, completes the player lineup. The event is free and open to the public.

Other Reds personnel visiting Louisville Slugger Field include manager Bryan Price, broadcasters Jeff Piecoro and Chris Welsh, Reds Hall of Famer Tom Browning, senior director of player development Jeff Graupe and mascot Mr. Red.

Duvall, 28, played in a career high 150 games for the Reds last season. The 2016 All-Star and Home Run Derby participant hit 33 home runs, tied for the sixth most in the National League and drove in 103 runs, the fifth most in the NL.

Adleman, 29, pitched in 10 games for the Reds, all starts, and was 3-1 with a 2.38 ERA. He made his Reds and Major League debut on May 1 against Pittsburgh and earned his first ML win on May 6 at Great American Ball Park versus the Brewers.

Romano, 23, was drafted in the 23rd round of the 2011 draft. He spent the entire 2016 season with Double-A Pensacola and went 6-11 with a 3.52 ERA in 27 starts for the Blue Wahoos. He is the 18th best prospect in the Reds system according to MLBPipeline.com.

The 2016 Reds Caravan provides fans with the opportunity to interact with current and former players, top minor leaguers, broadcasters and members of the Reds front office staff. At each stop, the group will field questions from fans and sign autographs while time allows. In all, the caravan will make 16 stops and cover 3,300 miles in three days over Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee.

Both Reds and Bats sales representatives will be available to answer ticketing questions and discuss 2017 ticket plans, while the Reds Hall of Fame, the Reds Community Fund and Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network will attend select stops. Also at each stop the Reds will raffle two (2) tickets to Opening Day on Monday, April 3 versus the Philadelphia Phillies.
