Special Guests Added to Senators Hot Stove Dinner Lineup
CBS 21 Morning Anchor Sherry Christian and ABC 27 Sports Anchor Gregg Mace Added

Harrisburg, PA - The Senators are pleased to announce that two local TV stalwarts, Sherry Christian and Gregg Mace, have been added to the evening. Christian will provide the keynote address while Mace will host the evening. The Senators Hot Stove Dinner, presented by Ollie's Bargain Outlet, is set for Saturday, February 4 and takes place at the Central Hotel and Conference Center Best Western Premier.   

Sherry has been a Senators fan since joining CBS 21 in July, 2002. She currently anchors CBS 21 News This Morning. She's also held positions in Detroit, Baltimore, Florence and Tallahassee. Growing up as a military brat allowed her to live in many different places. During her career in television broadcasting, Sherry has earned numerous awards for reporting excellence and community service. She's well known in Harrisburg for being involved with Goodwill Industries, Girl Scouts, March of Dimes, United Way and the Harrisburg Area Autism Society. She's an avid sports fan and enjoys playing softball. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida. Sherry lives in the Harrisburg area with her husband Jeremy and their daughters.

Gregg came to abc27 as their first ever weekend sportscaster when the station began its weekend newscasts in 1979. He took over as weeknight anchor/Sports Director in August 1980. Among Gregg's favorite career highlights are covering all six of the Senators Eastern League Championships, Carlisle High School's consecutive state basketball championships, the Philadelphia Phillies winning the World series in 1980 and 2008, Cal Ripken's consecutive games-played record streak, three Super Bowls, Penn State's two national football championships, and every Hershey Bears Calder Cup championship since 1980. While at abc27, Gregg also called ESPN indoor soccer as well as Rutgers University women's basketball for New Jersey Public Television. Gregg is married and has one son, Kyle.

In addition to Christian and Mace, other special guests this year are the Senators 2017 manager, Matt LeCroy, 2016 pitchers Tyler Mapes and Greg Ross and 2016 outfielder Andrew Stevenson. The Washington Nationals will also be represented as Doug Harris, Assistant General Manager and Vice President Player Development; Mark Scialabba, Director, Player Development; and Ryan Thomas, Assistant Director, Minor League Operations will also be in attendance. 

The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at 7:00pm. The program begins after dinner at about 8:00 p.m. There is a silent auction and raffle with the winners announced at the end of the evening. The three players and Matt LeCroy will be available for pictures and autographs from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. 

The seated-dinner is $55 per person with the deadline Friday, January 20. Tickets are available online through the Senators website at www.senatorsbaseball.com or by calling Blair Jewell at 231-4444 ext. 122. 

The Senators offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily during the off-season. The 2017 home opener is Thursday, April 6th against the Altoona Curve.
