LAKE ELSINORE, CA - The Lake Elsinore Storm invite fans of all ages to the 11th Annual Sip N' Swing Preseason Party on Sunday, March 19 at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore. Gates will be open from 11am to 3pm, with the chance to view firsthand the new seating options and additions at the stadium. Parking and admission are free.

Headlining the event is the opportunity for guests to be a part of the season's first batting practice on the field. Behind-the-scenes tours of the stadium will give Storm faithful a unique perceptive of life at TheDiamond as the team gets set for the 2017 season. Storm mascots Thunder and Ace, The Fastest Squirrel In The World will be on hand for photos and fun, and fans will have the chance to take home prizes (including a $2,000 VIP Package) and giveaways throughout the party. The Storm FunZone will be open for kids 12 & under and the Souvenir Store will feature this popular Storm merchandise.

The right field picnic area will once again be transformed into a Beer and Sausage Fest, featuring Mad Mike's Gourmet Sausage, draft beer and local craft brews.

Guests in attendance will have the chance to purchase their favorite seats for the best games and promotions of the season, and the stadium concourse will feature vendors, local non-profit groups and the Storm Booster Club.

"Sip N' Swing is the perfect way to showcase all of the seating changes and upgrades that have occurred at The Diamond during the offseason," team General Manager Raj Narayanan said. "We love having our fans at the ballpark, and everyone is invited to come out on March 19th for batting practice and to be the first to experience the new look and feel. Plus, who doesn't love a Beer and Sausage Fest?"

The piñata party planned for this event has been rescheduled for a festive promotion in August closer to football season.
