Kernels introduce three new voices to the Stadium!

Cedar Rapids, IA - There will be some new voices at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium this season as three individuals join the Kernels game day staff as the primary PA announcer and On-Field Hosts!

Joining the On-Field Host crew are Doug Wagner and Andrew Slater. Doug is a morning show host on WMT AM 600 and Andrew is the morning show host on Q92.3 in Waterloo.

Jake Binggeli will be the Kernels primary PA announcer this season. Jake has been the PA announcer for baseball, softball and basketball at City High in Iowa City.

2017 season ticket packages and 10-game coupon books are on sale now at the stadium, or by calling the Kernels at (319) 363-3887. Individual game tickets go on sale Monday, March 13th at 10 AM.

The 2017 Kernels arrive in Cedar Rapids on Monday, April 3rd and your first chance to meet the new team is on Tuesday, April 4th as part of 'Meet the Kernels Night'. The Kernels open the 2017 Midwest League season on the road at Beloit on Thursday, April 6th. The Kernels home opener is on Saturday, April 8th at 5:05 PM against Beloit.
