P-Nats Round Out 2017 Staff with Two Front Office Additions
Christine Boggy hired as Director of Marketing & Community Relations/Promotions Manager; Taylor Cockerille added as Ticket Sales Executive

Woodbridge, VA---With the 2017 Carolina League season less than a month away, the Potomac Nationals have rounded out their Front Office staff with two additions. Christine Boggy, Potomac's Director of Marketing & Community Relations/Promotions Manager, started in January, while Taylor Cockerille began her tenure as a Ticket Sales Executive with the P-Nats in March.

Boggy, born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska, attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Journalism and Mass Media Studies. While at UNLV, Boggy interned, and was later hired, at ESPN Radio in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she delivered on-air sports updates.

After graduation, the Nebraska native worked in production for the Kansas City Royals as well as for ABC Sports/ESPN, where she covered college football, Monday Night Football, and the College World Series. Boggy got her first on-air television job as a news reporter at WDAZ in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She made her way as a sports anchor in Idaho and later in Nebraska before she became part of the SEC Network based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Before she joined the P-Nats, Boggy was the Feature Reporter/Director of Social Media for the Evoshield Canes, a Virginia based travel baseball organization designed to develop high school players to play baseball at the college level.

Cockerille, originally from Strasburg, VA, graduated in 2016 from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Cockerille aims to get an MBA in sports management/marketing in the future.

While in college, Cockerille won several conference championships in track and field. Before she joined the P-Nats, Cockerille worked within the Valley Baseball League, the Frederick Keys (Baltimore Orioles), Washington Redskins, and was the Promotions Manager for the Lake Erie Crushers.

The Potomac Nationals open up the 2017 season at 6:35pm on Thursday, April 6th in Wilmington, DE against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Kansas City Royals). The 2017 home campaign gets underway on Thursday, April 13th at 7:05pm as the P-Nats host the Blue Rocks as Pfitzner Stadium.
