Jackson, Tenn. - For the second night in a row, Jackson lost a late lead and fell to Biloxi on Thursday as the Shuckers downed the Generals 4-2 in ten innings. Biloxi tied the game in the ninth inning before scoring a pair in the tenth to hand Jackson a seventh consecutive loss.
Brad Keller turned in a strong start, allowing just one run on one hit in six innings. The lone run he surrendered came in the second inning. Biloxi (26-24, 62-57) used a walk, a double and a groundout to go on top 1-0. Keller struck out five and walked five before leaving in line for the win.

Jackson (23-29, 60-62) scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to go in front. Kevin Cron led off the inning with a no-doubt home run to left-center that tied the game. Cron's 23 home runs and 83 runs batted in both lead the Southern League. Michael Perez, who had two hits on the night, followed with a single before moving to third on a Marty Herum double. Perez would score on a Daniel Lockhart sacrifice fly to give Jackson a 2-1 lead.
The Generals would hold onto the lead until the ninth. After Keller, Andury Acevedo and Yuhei Nakaushiro pitched scoreless innings in relief. Keegan Long pitched the ninth, but was unable to close it out. Biloxi had two hits through the first eight innings before tying the contest on three singles in the ninth to force extras.
In the tenth inning, Troy Stokes took J.R. Bradley (0-1, 4.50) deep to give Biloxi the lead. The Shuckers would add a run to go up 4-2. Jorge López (7-7, 4.55) picked up the win in relief, pitching two perfect frames.
The Generals had just one hit on offense over the final six innings of the game, and they drew just one walk as a team. The bullpen allowed a run for a fifth-consecutive game as well. Jackson's seven-straight losses dropped the team to two below .500 on the season.
