    A new era of Jackson Generals baseball starts in a little more than a month and you can purchase seats for individual games starting Monday, March 6!   • 2017 Promotional Schedule Released

    With the calendar turning to March and baseball right around the corner, the Jackson Generals announced their 2017 Promotional Schedule Wednesday. The team's 20th season in Jackson is highlighted by 13 fireworks shows, a number of giveaways and the addition of new Thursday and Friday promotions. MORE »
  • Generals to Play JSCC in Exhibition April 4

    Thursday, April 6 is Opening Night, but baseball fans in West Tennessee will have an opportunity to see the Jackson Generals play a little earlier this year. The Generals will take on Jackson State Community College in a seven-inning exhibition contest Tuesday, April 4 at 6:05 pm. Fans can see the 2017 team before the season starts for just $5, with all proceeds going to the Generals Care Foundation. MORE »
  • 2017 Field Staff for Generals Announced

    The Arizona Diamondbacks announced the field staff for the Generals Thursday, with Jackson getting an experienced staff in its first year as part of the organization. 2015 California League Manager of the Year J.R. House is set to manage the team, with Jason Camilli returning to Double-A as hitting coach and Major League veteran Doug Drabek serving as pitching coach. Joe Mather will join the staff as a coach.   • Generals, D-Backs Announce Four-Year PDC

    2017 will mark the beginning of a new era for minor league baseball in West Tennessee, as the Generals and Arizona Diamondbacks announced a four-year player development contract Monday. With the agreement in place, the Jackson Generals will be Arizona's Double-A affiliate through at least 2020. MORE »
  • Champs! Generals Claim League Title

    The Jackson Generals wrapped up an incredible 2016 season in a fitting way, claiming the Southern League Championship with a n 11-3 win over the Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park Thursday night. The team got a dozen hits, including three from Championship Series MVP en route to a three-game sweep. The title is the second in franchise history, and the first since 2000. MORE »
  • Ash, Harper Pitch Generals to 2-0 Lead

    Brett Ash was turned in seven sensational innings, combining with Ryne Harper on a 2-0 shutout of the Mississippi Braves in game two of the Southern League Championship Series Tuesday night. The victory puts the Generals one win away from a league championship as the best-of-five series shifts to the Magnolia State. MORE »
  • O'Neill's Double Gives Generals Game One

    Yet again, it was Tyler O'Neill coming through with a huge hit as the Generals took down the Mississippi Braves 6-4 in game one of the Southern League Championship Series Monday night in Jackson. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, O'Neill lined a two-run double into left to give Jackson the lead for good.     After three nerve-wracking affairs, the Generals clinched a spot in the Southern League Championship Series Saturday night with a convincing 8-2 win over the Montgomery Biscuits at Riverwalk Stadium for the first time since 2012. MORE »
  • Walk-Off Loss Extends Series

    In yet another classic playoff game, Jackson came away on the wrong end of a 4-3 final as Montgomery walked off to keep their season alive. Jake DePew's game-winning double in the ninth inning won it for the Biscuits, who forced a fourth game in the best-of-five North Division Series Saturday night.   • Generals Edge Montgomery, Lead Series 2-0

    The Generals got strong pitching and a pair of solo home runs to take down Montgomery 2-1 in game two of the North Division Series Thursday night in front of 2,918 at The Ballpark at Jackson. Tyler Marlette and Tyler O'Neill both went yard, while a trio of hurlers kept the Biscuits to just one run.   • O'Neill Blasts Generals to Series Lead

    Andrew Moore's stellar performance on the mound and Tyler O'Neill's heroics at the plate led the Generals to a dramatic 3-0 win over Montgomery in ten innings in Jackson Wednesday night, giving the team a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five North Division Series. Moore pitched nine scoreless innings and faced the minimum, but the Generals did not win it until Tyler O'Neill mashed a three-run walk-off homer to seal the deal. MORE »

    Bryan Evans gave the Generals seven strong innings while Steve Clevenger had three hits on offense, but it was not enough as Jackson fell 2-1 to Chattanooga in the regular season finale at The Ballpark Tuesday afternoon.     The Generals snapped a four-game losing streak and made some history Sunday afternoon in an 8-5 win over Chattanooga at The Ballpark at Jackson. Tyler Martlette's two-run homer in the eighth inning turned out to be the difference as Jackson tied a franchise record with its 84th victory. MORE »

    In front of 3,010 on SEC Night, the Generals lost by a run to the Chattanooga Lookouts Saturday night at The Ballpark at Jackson. The Generals put the potential tying run into scoring position in the ninth inning, but could not get Tim Lopes home as Chattanooga went on to a 2-1 victory. MORE »
  • Six Generals Headed to Fall League

    Rosters for the Arizona Fall League were announced Wednesday, and six members of the 2016 Jackson Generals were chosen to play for the Peoria Javelinas in the prestigious league that features top prospects from around baseball. Outfielders Tyler O'Neill and Guillermo Heredia, catcher Tyler Marlette, and pitchers Dan Altavilla, Emilio Pagan and Dylan Unsworth were among the six Mariners selected. MORE »

    The Generals had an early lead and put two men on in the ninth, but ultimately dropped a tight contest to Chattanooga Thursday night at The Ballpark at Jackson.
