  • Knights to Become Charlotte Pitmasters for Saturday, July 15th Game

    On Saturday, July 15th, the Charlotte Knights will take the field for their 7:05 p.m. game at BB&T Ballpark against the Gwinnett Braves as a "brand" new team -- the Charlotte Pitmasters. Themed behind the rich history of delicious BBQ in the City of Charlotte, the Knights unveiled a new uniform design, including an on-field cap, jersey, and merchandise at a press conference held at BB&T Ballpark on Thursday in front of hundreds of season ticket holders.   • Tuesday's 49ers Game Suspended Due to Inclement Weather

    Tuesday's game between the Charlotte 49ers and Wake Forest Demon Deacons from BB&T Ballpark has been suspended due to inclement weather. The two teams will resume the game from Charlotte's home ballpark, Hayes Stadium, on Wednesday with first pitch set for 6:00 p.m. MORE »
  • Knights Announce Front Office Staff Additions & Promotions

    With just 30 days remaining until Opening Knight (April 6th) at BB&T Ballpark for the team's 30th season in franchise history, the Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce a new offseason initiative as the season nears. Over the next 30 days, the team will be releasing 30 new exciting items of note in preparation for the team's historic 30th season.   • Knights Announce Improvements to Two Unique Group Areas

    With the 2017 season less than two months away on Thursday, April 6th, the Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce improvements to two unique areas at BB&T Ballpark. The Piedmont Natural Gas Picnic Area, which is located in left field, and the Miller Lite Rooftop Party Zone, which is located in right field, will each be receiving enhancements for the upcoming 2017 season.     Legendary baseball players, retro giveaways, memorable theme nights, and historic tributes to 125 years of Charlotte baseball history, highlight the Charlotte Knights promotional schedule for the 2017 -- the team's 30th season under the Knights' name.   • Knights Announce 2017 Scholarships with Founding Partners

    As the 2017 season nears, the Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce their partnership with two of their founding partners to continue to provide educational funding through two unique scholarships for high school students. The Charlotte Knights Healthcare Scholarship, presented by Carolinas HealthCare System, along with the Charlotte Knights STEM Scholarship Program, presented by Piedmont Natural Gas, each represent the team's focus on community initiatives.   • Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale February 25

    Single-game tickets for the 2017 season at BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte will go on sale to the general public in person at the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25th. Single-game tickets will then go on sale online at CharlotteKnights.com and by phone (704-274-8282) at noon on Saturday, February 25th. Prices for single-game tickets start as low as $8 for Standing Room Only, which gives fans access around the concourse and provides seating in the grass berm area. MORE »
  • National Anthem Auditions Set for February 27th at Queen City Q in Uptown Charlotte

    The Charlotte Knights and Queen City Q are teaming up for the fourth consecutive year to host the team's annual National Anthem auditions on Monday, February 27th. The auditions will once again take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Queen City Q in Uptown Charlotte. Much like in past years, the auditions are free of charge and are open to the public.   • Appalachian State to Host N.C. Central on March 14th at BB&T Ballpark

    On Tuesday, March 14th, the Appalachian State University Mountaineers will host the North Carolina Central University Eagles in an exciting collegiate baseball matchup at BB&T Ballpark. Gates are set to open at 5:00 p.m. for the 6:05 p.m. tilt in Uptown Charlotte. Field box tickets will be just $10 for the general public, while students from each university will be offered a discounted field box ticket for just $8 by showing a school ID at the ballpark ticket office.   • 49ers Return to BB&T Ballpark in 2017

    Collegiate baseball will return to Uptown Charlotte in 2017 as the Charlotte 49ers will host two home games at BB&T Ballpark. The 49ers -- the first collegiate baseball team to take the field in BB&T Ballpark history -- will host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Tuesday, March 21 and the N.C. State Wolfpack on Tuesday, March 28. Gates for both games at BB&T Ballpark will open at 6:00 p.m. and first pitch of each game is on tap for a new start time of 7:05 p.m. MORE »
  • Davidson Wildcats to Host Winthrop Eagles at BB&T Ballpark on May 10th

    On Wednesday, May 10th, college baseball will return to BB&T Ballpark as the Davidson College Wildcats will host the Winthrop University Eagles in a 6:05 p.m. game. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and field box tickets will be just $10 for fans. Students from each university will be offered a discounted field box ticket of just $8 by showing a school ID.   • Tar Heels to Host Gamecocks at BB&T Ballpark on April 11th

    On Tuesday, April 11th, the University of North Carolina Tar Heels will host the University of South Carolina Gamecocks at 7:05 p.m. in a collegiate baseball game at BB&T Ballpark. This year's matchup is the second in as many years to be played between these two teams at the home of the Charlotte Knights. Last season, the Tar Heels won the inaugural game by a score of 15-0 in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,205 fans. MORE »
