  • Dash unveil 2017 amateur baseball schedule

    The Dash's amateur baseball program will once again provide many local teams with an opportunity to play at BB&T Ballpark this spring. There will be an amateur baseball game on nine dates this season. Thanks to this slate of games, along with the Dash's 71-game home schedule and Winston-Salem State University's 21-game home schedule, BB&T Ballpark will host more than 100 baseball games in 2017.   • Bookmarks, Dash to team up for Chipper Jones event

    Bookmarks is proud to present "Chipper Jones: Behind the Plate" with longtime Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones on Thursday, April 6 at 6 p.m. at BB&T Ballpark, the home of the Winston-Salem Dash.   • Dash's Youth Baseball Academy to expand in 2017

    The Dash will host a pair of Youth Baseball Academy sessions, including the first five-day program in team history. Baseball players between the ages of 5 and 12 will interact with Dash players and coaches while improving their hitting, pitching and baseball skills at BB&T Ballpark. MORE »

    Oh Say Can You Sing? The Winston-Salem Dash want to find out! The Dash and the Winston-Salem Journal will host their 2017 National Anthem Tryouts on Saturday, February 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lower level of Hanes Mall below the food court.   • WSSU Baseball to play at BB&T Ballpark in 2017

    Winston-Salem State University's baseball program will play the majority of its 2017 home games inside BB&T Ballpark, the home of the Winston-Salem Dash. The Rams' season opener is set for this Friday, February 3, in downtown Winston-Salem against Millersville. MORE »
  • White Sox invite seven alumni to Spring Training

    The Chicago White Sox have announced that seven former Winston-Salem players, including 2016 first-round picks Zack Burdi and Zack Collins, have earned non-roster invitations to Spring Training. Right-hander Spencer Adams, left-handers Aaron Bummer, Brian Clark and Jace Fry and outfielder Courtney Hawkins will join Burdi, Collins and 12 other non-roster invitees in Glendale, Ariz., next month.   • Dash single-game tickets to go on sale February 1

    The Winston-Salem Dash's eighth season at BB&T Ballpark begins on Thursday, April 13, and fans can begin purchasing single-game tickets for all 71 home games on Wednesday, February 1, at 10 a.m. by calling (336) 714-2287 or visiting the Dash's single-game ticket page. MORE »

    The Winston-Salem Dash have announced the club's game times for all 71 home games during the 2017 season. Most weekday games will begin at 7 p.m., while Saturday contests feature a 6:30 p.m. first pitch, with the exception of June 3 (4 p.m.). New this season, all Sunday games will start at 2 p.m. MORE »
  • Former World Champion Harris to manage Dash

    In conjunction with the Chicago White Sox, the Winston-Salem Dash have announced their on-field staff for the 2017 season. Former Major Leaguer Willie Harris, a member of the White Sox 2005 World Series Championship team, will manage the Dash, while Brian Drahman will take over as the pitching coach. Hitting coach Charlie Poe, athletic trainer Josh Fallin and strength and conditioning coach George Timke will return to Winston-Salem. MORE »

  • Dash unveil back-loaded 2017 schedule

    The Winston-Salem Dash have announced their 2017 schedule, which includes 71 home games and 32 home weekend games (Friday, Saturday or Sunday). All but 13 of the Dash's 71 home games will take place after mid-May, while 20 of the team's 32 weekend games will occur after the final scheduled day of school for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools.   • Lassiter named Calvin Falwell Executive of the Year

    Winston-Salem Dash President Geoff Lassiter has earned the 2016 Calvin Falwell Executive of the Year Award in the Carolina League, the league office announced Tuesday. Lassiter, who joined the Dash's front office team in 2010, is a first-time recipient of the Calvin Falwell Award and the second honoree in Winston-Salem's franchise history. MORE »
  • Dash, Krispy Kreme bring back Two for $22 deal

    For a second straight season, the Dash and Krispy Kreme have partnered to offer fans a special deal for the 2017 home opener at BB&T Ballpark. The "Two for $22" deal features a pair of Field Box tickets to the Dash's first home game on Thursday, April 13, along with an Original Glazed Doughnut and a small coffee from Krispy Kreme. MORE »
  • Local field wins makeover from Dash, Flow Chevrolet

    The Winston-Salem Dash and Flow Chevrolet have announced that Northwest Forsyth American Little League (NWFALL) has won the 2016 Diamond in the Rough Ballpark Renovation program. Therefore, NWFALL's field will receive a Major League makeover this fall. MORE »

    For a second consecutive year, the Carolina League has nominated the Winston-Salem Dash for the John H. Johnson President's Award, the top honor in Minor League Baseball. The Johnson Award recognizes a "complete" franchise that demonstrates stability and contributes to its community, its league and the baseball industry as a whole. MORE »
  • Martinez reaches Majors after long MiLB journey

    Outfielder Jose Martinez, who played in Winston-Salem for part of the 2010 and 2011 seasons, earned his first career promotion to the Major Leagues from the St. Louis Cardinals last week. Thus, he became the 348th Winston-Salem alumnus to reach the big leagues, with 40 of them playing in the Triad during the Dash era (2009-present). MORE »
