Albaladejo entered the night tied with Matt Whiteside for the single-season mark. Whiteside set the record with Richmond in 2004.

Albaladejo got Casper Wells to strike out on a foul tip and Ben Guez to fly out to right fielder Colin Curtis before Michael Bertram went down swinging to wrap up the game.

The right-hander has converted saves in 13 of his last 15 appearances, also tallying a win against Pawtucket on Aug. 9 and suffering the loss vs. the PawSox the next day. Overall, he's had 40 save opportunities.

Albaladejo appeared in two games this year for the big league club, going 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA over 2 2/3 innings before returning to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He allowed a run on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts with New York.

With the Baby Bombers, the Triple-A All-Star sports a 3-2 record with a 1.40 ERA over 57 2/3 innings in 51 games. He's struck out 74 while walking 17. He also picked up the save with a perfect frame at the Triple-A midsummer classic.
