Dayton, Ohio - The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster moves today:

Outfielder Juan Duran has been placed on the disabled list with a strained hamstring.

Outfielder Drew Poulk has been promoted to Dayton from extended spring training.

The Dragons roster is now at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Duran strained his hamstring in Tuesday night's game at Great Lakes and is expected to miss about 10 games.

Poulk was signed by the Reds as a non-drafted free agent following the 2010 draft after his senior season at North Carolina State University. Poulk was selected 2nd Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2010 after batting .354 with 14 home runs and 73 runs batted in while appearing in 59 games. After signing with the Reds, he appeared in 21 games with the Rookie-level AZL Reds last summer, batting .300 with no home runs and 10 RBI. Poulk has not played in an official game in 2011 but has participated in the Reds extended spring training program in Goodyear, Arizona.

The Dragons, winners of three straight games and five of their last six, play at South Bend on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. (WONE 980 AM). They have pulled to within one game of second place in the Midwest League's Eastern Division with 23 games to play in the first half race. The top two teams in the division at the end of the half will be qualified for post-season play in September.

The Dragons return home to Dayton on Tuesday to host the Beloit Snappers at Fifth Third Field. The Dragons consecutive home game sell-out streak stands at 799, 15 short of the all-time sports record.
