06/06/2011 3:47 PM ET
Behind four runs batted in from both Leonys Martin and Jose Ruiz, the RoughRiders completed a sweep of the Tulsa Drillers with a 9-4 victory Monday afternoon at ONEOK Field.

The 'Riders (32-24) have won a season-high six straight games. Frisco finished its road trip a perfect 6-0, which marks the first time the RoughRiders have won every game during a trip since April 29-May 2, 2008.

Martin's first big swing came in the third inning on a two-run blast, his third homer of the year. Ruiz singled in a run later in the frame to give the 'Riders a 3-0 advantage.

One inning later, the 'Riders' center fielder struck again. Martin shot a single up the middle to plate a pair of runs. Martin now has 18 RBIs in 21 games.

Ruiz gave Frisco some insurance following a Jonathan Greene sacrifice fly in the ninth. He clubbed a three-run home run to right to extend the RoughRiders' lead to five. Ruiz finished the game 4-for-5.

Frisco starter Martin Perez (4-0) earned a win in his third straight start. Perez surrendered three runs on six hits in six innings. The Rangers' number one prospect posted his sixth quality start since April 30. With eight strikeouts, Perez now has 65 on the season, which leads the Texas League heading into play Monday night.

Out of the bullpen, Corey Young tossed a scoreless inning and stranded a runner at third with one down in the seventh. Tyler Tufts struck out the only two men he faced, and Fabio Castillo dealt a perfect ninth.

Tulsa (28-27) tallied a run in the second, third and fourth. The Drillers scored again on a wild pitch in the eighth.

After an off day Tuesday, the RoughRiders return home to square off with first-place San Antonio. Game one of that four-game series is Wednesday night at 7:05 from Dr Pepper Ballpark. Jake Brigham will start for the 'Riders against Juan Oramas.
