07/13/2011 5:12 PM ET
Coming off a 5-1 road trip, the RoughRiders are back at Dr Pepper Ballpark for a four-game weekend series against the Corpus Christi Hooks. Entering Thursday, the 'Riders own a five-game winning streak, which is one shy of a season high.

If you are coming out to the park for a game, let us help you plan your visit!

THE HOME STAND:
Thursday, July 14: RoughRiders v. Hooks - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, July 15: RoughRiders v. Hooks - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 16: RoughRiders v. Hooks - 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 17: RoughRiders v. Hooks - 6:00 p.m.

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE: There is still time for you to be a part of this exciting home stand. For ticket information, call the RoughRiders at (972) 731-9200.

DIVISIONAL SHOWDOWN: Owners of the second-best record in the Texas League, the RoughRiders welcome Corpus Christi to town this weekend. Even though the Hooks are in last place in the Texas League South, they have played some of their best baseball against the 'Riders. Frisco is 10-10 against Corpus Christi thus far this season.

The Hooks boast three of the top five position players in Houston's farm system: shortstop Jonathan Villar, outfielder J.D. Martinez and second baseman Jimmy Paredes. Infielder Jose Altuve, one of minor league baseball's best hitters at .389, also starts for Corpus Christi.

FIREWORKS FRIDAY: After Friday night's game, fans will enjoy a fireworks display, which is made possible by our friends at TGI Fridays. The fireworks show, as always, is weather and wind permitting.

SILENT AUCTION FRIDAY, TOO: The RoughRiders Foundation will be hosting a silent auction during Friday's game. The premier item that will be auctioned off is an autographed, game-worn RoughRiders jersey from current Rangers closer Neftali Feliz. Many other RoughRiders and Rangers items will be auctioned off during the game, too, and all proceeds benefit the RoughRiders Foundation.

BASEBALL 101 FOR WOMEN: Hey ladies, do you want to learn the ins and outs of baseball from RoughRiders players? State Farm and the RoughRiders have just thing for you: Baseball 101!

On July 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m., you'll have a unique opportunity to come out to Dr Pepper Ballpark and meet some RoughRiders coaches and players. They'll answer all your baseball questions and tell you about life in the minors. You'll also get to enjoy some great food, awesome prizes and giveaways and take a tour of Dr Pepper Ballpark.
