VIERA, Fla. -The Brevard County Manatees notched their fourth shutout of the season as they blanked the Lakeland Flying Tigers 5-0 on Tuesday night at Space Coast Stadium.

Starting pitcher Jed Bradley (2-1, 0.00) threw six scoreless innings and struck out seven. In 19 innings of work in three starts, the southpaw has yet to allow an earned run in 2012.

In the third inning, Brevard County (8-4) put three runs on the board thanks to a two-run triple by T.J. Mittelstaedt and a RBI single by Cody Hawn, who went 2-for-4. Mittelstaedt is currently the Florida State League's leader in slugging percentage with a mark of .615.

The 'Tees put two more on the board in the seventh inning on a two-run double by Miguel Velazquez that scored both Nick Shaw and Reggie Keen.

Seeing his first action of the season, former first round pick Eric Arnett relieved Bradley in the seventh and pitched a scoreless inning. Alan Williams pitched the final two innings and recorded two strikeouts against Lakeland (5-7).

Brevard County, along with the rest of the FSL, will have an off day on Wednesday. The Manatees will then hit the road on Thursday for a six-game road trip.

The first stop on that trip will be to face the FSL North Division leading Dunedin Blue Jays for a three-game set. Brevard County currently trails Dunedin by two games for first place. The Manatees will then take on the Clearwater Threshers for a three-game series.

Hiram Burgos (0-0, 0.00) is slated to start the opening game of Brevard County's series against Dunedin. Burgos threw six scoreless innings and allowed just three hits in his last start against Dunedin this past Friday.
