Marisnick, the Blue Jays' No. 3 prospect, homered for the second time in three games, going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in Class A Advanced Dunedin's 9-6 loss at Lakeland on Thursday night.

Toronto's third round pick in the 2009 Draft was in an 0-for-13 slide in a three-game stretch entering Tuesday's game, when he smacked a two-run homer against Tampa. He kept the turnaround going with two hits Wednesday and a leadoff homer in the second inning on Thursday, his second of the season, before adding an RBI single in the fourth and a one-out single in the sixth.

Before Tuesday, Marisnick had seven hits and two RBIs in his previous eight games. He entered Thursday's game batting .212 against left-handers with 15 strikeouts in 18 games.

Toronto has high hopes for the 21-year-old native of Riverside, Calif., who is ranked just behind fellow outfielder Anthony Gose and catcher Travis d'Arnaud on the Jays' prospect list.

He spent the 2011 season at Class A Lansing, where he hit .320 with 14 homers, 77 RBIs and 37 steals en route to being named a MiLB.com organizational All-Star and Midwest League All-Star.

Marisnick's homer wasn't quite enough for Dunedin on Thursday, though, as Wade Gaynor homered and drove in four runs and Bruce Rondon picked up the save for Lakeland.
