The loss is Williamsport's ninth in twelve games. They've lost their last four series and fall into last place in the Pinckney Division.

Nic Hanson got the start and allowed a three-run homer to Saxon Butler in the first. It was Hanson's league-leading fourth home run allowed, as he gave up four runs on six hits in three innings.

Williamsport scored a run in the second on a Kevin Quaranto groundout, but fell behind 4-1 in the third.

Matt Sisto would come on in relief of Hanson, but equally struggled. He allowed an RBI-double to Ravel Santana in the fifth and two further runs in the sixth to drop the Cutters into a 7-1 hole.

Steven Inch, playing for the first time off of a five-game suspension, got Williamsport out of the sixth inning, but gave up a two-run double to Exicardo Cayones in the seventh to make it 9-1 Baby Bombers.

The Crosscutters would mount a rally in the eighth. Cameron Perkins reached on an error and found himself at third after a double to right by Chris Serritella. A Brian Pointer groundout would score Perkins, while Serritella came home on a wild pitch. Tyler Greene would later draw a bases-loaded walk to cut the deficit to 9-4, but that would be all.

Serritella finished 2-for-4 with his seventh extra-base hit of the road trip. Yan Carlos Olmo has three hits for the second time this season. But the offense failed, overall, to get timely hits, stranding eleven runners on base.
