Sano, the Twins' top prospect, was named the circuit's Prospect of the Year after he hit .260 with 27 homers, 98 RBIs and eight steals in his first 126 games. The 19-year-old leads the league in homers, RBIs and ranks third in slugging percentage for Beloit. Lansing skipper John Tamargo Jr. was selected as the league's Manager of the Year after leading the Blue Jays affiliate to a first-half division crown. The Lugnuts, through Aug. 29, own the league's best record at 79-52.
