The 22-year-old right-hander surrendered a leadoff homer to Jordany Valdespin in the first frame, but held the Mets to just two more hits while striking out seven over six frames. Teheran is 2-1 with a 1.35 ERA and 25 strikeouts over 20 Grapefruit League innings.
