2020

Finished his first season in the big leagues, going 13- for-61 (.213) with four homers and 10 RBI...Started 19 games, all at catcher, and logged 160.1 innings behind the plate...Selected to the Giants’ Major League roster on July 28 and became the sixth player born in Aruba to make the big leagues, joining Xander Bogaerts (2013-present), Radhames Dykhoff (1998), Gene Kingslae (1996- 2003), Calvin Maduro (1996-2002) and Sidney Ponson (1998-2009)... Was in the starting lineup at catcher on July 29, making his Major League debut...Recorded his first Major League hit with a single to right field off Rangers LHP Mike Minor on July 31 at Oracle Park...finished the game 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI...Hit his first Major League home run on Aug. 2 off Texas’ RHP Jesse Chavez...his two-run shot took Jeff Samardzija off the hook for a loss and drew the Giants even in the 6th inning...Placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 22 with a strain in his right shoulder...sustained the injury two days prior at Oakland while diving headfirst back into first base.

Recovered from shoulder surgery the first half of the season...started a rehab assignment with the AZL-Reds in mid-June and hit .271 (13-for-48) with 16 RBI in 16 games... Appeared in 26 games with Triple-A Louisville, hitting .286 (22-for-77) with seven home runs and 21 RBI.

2018

Attended his first Major League Spring Training with the Reds ... Split the season between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Louisville ... Landed on the injured list on August 14 with a right rotator cuff strain.

2017

In 69 appearances for Class-A Advanced Daytona and Double-A Pensacola he combined to hit .259 with 13 doubles, one HR and 34 RBI ... Led Daytona catchers by throwing out 32% of the baserunners attempting to steal ... Following the season played for Scottsdale in the Arizona Fall League and hit .316 in 10 games.
