♦ Attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he posted a 3.64 ERA over 59 career games with the Panthers. Registered 104 strikeouts over 94.0 innings in his college career. Was a teammate with former Orioles RHP Matt Wotherspoon.
♦ Was a Cape Cod League All-Star in the summer of 2016 for the Chatham Anglers.
♦ Attended Harbor Creek High School (PA) where he was twice named Second-Team All-State and was named five-time All-Region in his high school career. Set a school record with 19 strikeouts in a 7.0-inning game his senior season. Also played basketball.
