2014: Played with four different organizations, landing in Kansas City on August 28 after being claimed off waivers from Pittsburgh...Opened the year with Philadelphia but was granted free agency on May 13...Signed as a free agent with Tampa Bay and appeared in 55 games with Triple-A Durham…Hit .272 with 15 doubles and 16 RBI in 55 games with the Bulls...Collected four hits and finished a home run short of the cycle, July 19 at Gwinnett...Released by Tampa Bay on August 1…Signed with Pittsburgh on August 3 and appeared in 16 games for the Pirates...Saw his first-ever action at first base in his Royals debut on August 30...Appeared in three postseason games for Royals, including two games during the World Series.
