2014: Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A New Orleans in the Miami organization, going 3-3 with 14 saves and a 3.66 ERA in 47 relief appearances...His 14 saves ranked third among Marlins minor leaguers...Led Zephyrs relievers with 47 games pitched...Registered 72 strikeouts while issuing just 21 walks in 64.0 innings pitched...Held Pacific Coast League batters to a .229 average, with right-handers hitting just .195 against him (26-133)...Was acquired by the Yankees from the Miami Marlins on 8/31 in exchange for cash considerations...Made three appearances with the Yankees before being designated for assignment on 9/21 when RHP Masahiro Tanaka was reinstated from the 60-day disabled list.

2011: Spent entire season with Triple-A Tacoma in the Seattle organization...Made first 10 appearances of the year as a starter, going 0-5 with a 7.33 ERA...Made final 23 outings as a reliever, where he posted a 5.84 ERA...Registered 83 walks while issuing 38 walks.
2010: Spent entire season with Triple-A Colorado Springs in the Rockies organization, where he went 9-13 with a 5.98 ERA in 27 starts...Registerd two complete games: 4/22 vs. Tacoma (6.0 IP) and 6/5 at Salt Lake City (9.0 IP)...Led the Sky Sox in starts (27), innings pitched (158.0) and strikeouts (115)...His 13 losses were the second-most in the Pacific Coast League...Acquired by Seattle from Colorado, in exchange for IF Jose Lopez, December 2. 
2009: Went 7-3 with a 3.15 ERA in 20 starts for the Double-A Tulsa Drillers in the Colorado system... Ranked among Texas League pitchers in ERA (5th, 3.15), WHIP (5th, 1.26), average against (5th, .241) and fewest baserunners per nine innings pitched (4th, 11.85). 
PERSONAL: Chaz Daniel Roe was signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent on 12/16/14... Originally selected by Colorado in the first round (32nd overall) of the 2005 draft...Attended Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY, where he was named a Third Team High School All-American by Baseball America in 2005 after going 7-2 with a 0.63 ERA during his senior season...Is the second player from Lafayette High School to make the major leagues, joining outfielder Austin Kearns.
