2015 Highlights
• Spent the majority of the season in Norfolk, where he went 2-1 with two saves and a 4.95 ERA in 45 games
• Opened the year at Double-A Bowie, making two scoreless appearances before joining Norfolk on April 14
• Had his contract selected by Baltimore on June 5 and appeared in two games with the Orioles
• Did not allow a run over his first 25 relief outings of the season between Bowie (2), Norfolk (21) & Baltimore (2). During that span he held batters to a .176 average (15-85), with left-handers hitting .138 (4-29)
• With Norfolk posted a 1.83 ERA through 8/9 but a 23.82 ERA (15 ER, 5.2 IP) from 8/10 through the end of the year
• His 45 appearances with Norfolk ranked second on the team and tied for the 12th-most in the IL

2010: In his first season working as a reliever, combined with Single-A Greenville and Single-A Salem to go 4-0 with nine saves and a 3.63 ERA in 79.1 IP out of the bullpen (32 ER)…Named the Red Sox Minor League Pitcher of the Month for May after going 2-0 with one save in 16.1 scoreless innings...Began the year with Greenville and went 2-0 with five saves and a 0.29 ERA, allowing just one earned run in 31.1 IP in relief.
PERSONAL: Cesar Augusto (Dipre) Cabral was signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent on 1/15/15, and re-signed by the O's as a free agent on 11/4/15…Originally signed by Boston as a non-drafted free agent in 2005…Drafted by Tampa Bay from Boston in the 2010 Rule 5 draft but was returned to Boston on 3/27/11…Has a younger brother who was formerly in the Red Sox system with the same first and last name (Cesar Ariel Cabral).
