Signed as an undrafted free agent with Arizona on June 21, 2010... "I am extremely excited to have this opportunity to play pro ball," said Davisson. "All I have ever wanted is a chance to play at the next level, and now that I have it, I intend to make the most of my opportunity." ... was initially selected by Boston in the 40th round (1213rd overall) of 2006 Draft but did not sign... pitched for University of Evansville... ranks second all-time on UE's career appearance chart... became the first Purple Aces' pitcher to post back-to-back seasons of 30 or more appearances in 2010... honorable mention all-Missouri Valley Conference status in 2010... a three-time team MVP at Bakersfield West High School during the 2003, 2005 and 2006 seasons... tried out for Team USA during 2005... debuted with Yakima in 2010... married his wife, Lexi, on the mound of Yakima County Stadium on Aug. 2, 2010 before the Bears' 8-7 loss to Eugene.
