Stanton and the Marlins agreed to a 13-year, $325 million deal in November 2014 that is the largest contract in North American sports history in terms of dollar amount... graduated from Notre Dame HS (California) in 2007... earned All-Southern Section honors in football, basketball and baseball in his senior season... was named 2007 Cal-Hi Sports Boys State Athlete of the Year... Had contract selected by Marlins on June 8, 2010 and made Major League debut that night in Philadelphia, going 3-for-5 with two runs.
