Following a successful 2015 season with Lancaster in the independent Atlantic League, returned to the minor leagues with the Twins organization in 2016. His lone ML stint came in 2014 when TOR purchased his contract from Triple-A Buffalo on 4/5. Did not appear in a big league game before being optioned back to Buffalo on 4/9. Spent his first 7 professional seasons (2007-13) in the Blue Jays organization after being selected by TOR in the 9th round of the 2007 June Draft. Also attended spring training as a non-roster invitee with the Blue Jays in 2014
before being claimed off waivers by OAK in April of that season. Underwent Tommy John surgery in March 2010. Missed the entire 2010 season and part of the 2011 season... Selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the ninth round of the 2007 First-Year Player Draft out of Fresno City College.
