2014: A 2013 Rule 5 selection by Baltimore from Boston, he opened the season on the disabled list with patellar tendinitis in his left knee...Played nine rehab games between the GCL Orioles, Class-A Frederick and Norfolk...Belted first Triple-A home run on June 29 at Rochester, a solo shot off of Logan Darnell...Sent back to the Red Sox on July 1...Appeared in 49 games with Double-A Portland, batting .277 with five home runs and 25 RBI...Hit three home runs and drove in eight runs over a four-game span, August 8-12...Hit 11th-inning grand slam on August 9 at Richmond...Acquired by Baltimore from Boston on August 30, along with IF Kelly Johnson, in exchange for IFs Ivan De Jesus and Jemile Weeks...Played final three games of the season with Norfolk.
