2019
♦ Spent the majority of his season with Triple-A Iowa, where he hit .235 with five home runs, 23 RBI and a .338 on-base percentage over 61 games. 
♦ Batted .313 (10-32) with two home runs and five RBI in May. 
♦ Appeared in seven games with Chicago, batting .167 (3-18) with a home run and four RBI. 
♦ Hit his first MLB home run on 5/4 vs. St. Louis, a game-tying grand slam. Became the seventh player in MLB history - and the first Cub - to hit a game-tying grand slam for his first career homer (the first since Will Middlebrooks on 5/6/12). Th
♦ Became the first Cub to hit a grand slam for his first career home run since Kevin Tapani did so on 7/20/88. The last Cubs position player to accomplish the feat was Champ Summers, who did so in a pinch-hit role on 8/23/75.

♦ Hit .340 (52-153) with three homers and 32 RBI in 39 games after the All-Star break.

♦ Spent 5/27 - 7/8 on Iowa's Injured List with a left hand sprain.

2015
♦ Batted .311 with a .361 OBP in 104 games between Double-A Tennessee & Triple-A Iowa.
♦ Appeared defensively at catcher (49 games), first base (30 games), third base (3 games) and left field (1 game).

♦ Signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent on 1/23/20. 
♦ Initially signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Chicago Cubs in 2011. Spent the first nine seasons of his pro career in the Cubs organization.
♦ Attended Morehead State University (KY) where he was First Team All-Conference his junior year after batting .414. Finished his college career with 36 home runs and 145 RBI.
♦ Notable Morehead St. alumni include former Tides RHP Jon Rauch and NFL QB Phil Simms.
♦ Drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 49th round of the 2008 draft, but did not sign.
♦ Attended Jupiter High School (FL), where he hit .500 with a school-record 25-game hitting streak his senior year. Was the MVP of the Florida FBCA All-Star Game.
