PERSONAL: Caleb Martin Joseph was selected by Baltimore in the 7th round of the 2008 draft out of Lipscomb University...During his junior year with the Bisons, he helped lead the club to the Atlantic Sun Championship and its first-ever NCAA baseball tournament...Led Lipscomb in batting average (.342), slugging % (.615), hits (61), home runs (17) and total bases in 2008 while being named to the A-Sun All-Conference Team...Was also named MVP of the A-Sun conference tournament...His younger brother, Corban, was selected in 4th round of the 2008 draft by the New York Yankees out of Franklin High School (TN); Corban played in Norfolk in 2016 and was signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent prior to the 2018 season.
