2015 Highlights
• Returned from Tommy John Surgery to make 27 appearances in the minors for Miami, going 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA (37.1 IP, 8 ER)
• Across all levels, right-handed batters compiled a .215 batting average (20-93)  
• Made season debut on June 3rd with Class-A Jupiter and worked 7.0 scoreless frames over four appearances 
• Transferred to Double A Jacksonville on June 15th posting a 2.70 ERA (13.1 IP, 4 ER) in 10 games with the Suns
• Transferred to New Orleans on July 25th and picked up his lone save of the season that night 
• Did not surrender a hit over his first six games in August, spanning 8.0 innings for the Zhyphs
• Had his contract selected by Miami on August 20th and made his big league debut that night vs. PHI (0.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, K)  
• Pacific Coast League opponents batted .153 (9-59) over 13 appearances  
2014: Underwent Tommy John surgery in late-May and missed the entire season
2013: Named a Southern League All-Star with AA Jacksonville, going 4-3 with a 2.63 ERA (18 ER, 61.2 IP) in 36 appearances...Among the league's relievers, ranked second in fewest walks per 9.0 innings (2.19), fourth in fewest baserunners per 9.0 innings (9.63) and fifth in batting average against (.209)...Did not yield a batting average above .200 in any month except June (.282)...Limited right-handers to a .174 mark (26-149)...In April and May, combined to go 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA (7 ER, 32.2 IP) while opponents batted .198 (24-111)...Promoted to New Orleans to make an emergency start on July 12th at Oklahoma City, the only start of his career...Took the loss after allowing three runs and six hits in 3.0 innings…Rejoined the Zephyrs on July 28th and worked 2.1 scoreless innings of relief on August 3rd vs. Reno before returning to Jacksonville on August 5th.
2012: Divided the year at the Class-A level between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins organizations...Combined to appear in a career-high 50 games while going 5-6 with six saves and a 3.80 ERA (27 ER , 64.0 IP)...Opened the year at Rancho Cucamonga and posted a 1.69 ERA (2 ER, 10.2 IP) in seven April outings...Converted all four of his save chances in May, allowing two hits in 6.1 innings with eight strikeouts and no walks in those situation...Carried a 2.00 ERA into the All-Star break...Traded to the Marlins on July 25th with RHP Nathan Eovaldi in exchange for INF Hanley Ramirez and LHP Randy Choate...Assigned to Jupiter, where he worked 12.1 straight scoreless frames over 10 appearances from July 30th-August 22nd...Limited Florida State League opponents to a .211 average (4-19) with runners in scoring position.
2011: In his professional debut, pitched in 26 games between short-season Ogden and Class A Great Lake...Ranked sixth among all Dodgers farmhands with 10 saves...Promoted to Great Lakes on July 14th and did not allow a run over his first eight outings (8.2 innings), going 4-for-4 in save opportunities while yielding a .120 batting average (3-25)...Struck out 25 Midwest League batters in 20.1 innings. 
PERSONAL: Scott Thomas McGough claimed off waivers from the Miami Marlins by the Baltimore Orioles on April 15th, 2016...Originally selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 48th round of the 2008 draft but chose to attend the university of Oregon...Went 5-2 with four saves and a 2.45 ERA in 25 games his sophomore year, earning Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 recognition and a spot on the 2010 Collegiate National Team...Entered his junior year as the 47th-rated collegiate prospect by Baseball America and set a school record by pitching in 31 games...Selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 5th round of the 2011 draft...Prior to College he was a 2008 gradute of Plum (PA) Senior High School where we was named East Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League Player of the Year...His father, Tom, pitched in the Cleveland Indians system from 1973-79.
