2016: Spent entire season with Triple-A Norfolk in his Orioles organization debut. Went 4-4 with a 2.88 ERA (22 ER/68.2 IP) and 76 SO in 42 appearances, all in relief. Began 2016 in the Cubs organization, but was acquired by BAL on 3/24 in exchange for a player to be named later. Held left-handed hitters to a .217 AVG (15-for-69) with 24 SO and only 1 HR allowed. Beginning 6/24, posted a 1.86 ERA (8 ER/38.2 IP) and a .209 opponent AVG in 20 appearances. Pitched 2.0+ innings 19 times, going 4-0 with a 2.14 ERA in those games (46.1 IP, 36 H, 11 ER, 0 HR, 48 SO). Pitched 3.0 or more innings 3 times, posting a 0.75 ERA and a .083 opponent AVG in those games (12.0 IP, 3 H,
ER). Allowed only 1 hit in 4.2 scoreless innings on 6/24 at Columbus. Pitched 3.0 hitless innings on 8/3 at Durham.

2015 Highlights
• Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Tacoma, appearing in 20 games, before being recalled to the Mariners, 8/17 
• Began the season on the major league 15-day disabled list with left shoulder impingement syndrome; activated May 20 and optioned to Tacoma
• Made his season debut May 23 at Iowa, allowing four runs in 0.1 innings; allowed just two runs in his next seven outings (10.0 IP) combined
• Finished 1-1 with one save and a 3.55 ERA (13 ER/33.0 IP) in 20 games (two starts) with Tacoma
• In his final nine outings, posted a 1.53 ERA (3 ER, 17.2 IP), including no runs in his final five appearances (13.0 IP) 
• Tossed 5.0 hitless innings in his final outing with Tacoma; a starting assignment vs SAC August 11. 
• Had his contract selected by Seattle, 8/17, and made his team debut that evening at Texas (1.2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER 1 HB)

2014: Split the season between Double-A Jacksonville and Triple-A New Orleans, combining to go 3-3 with three saves and a 4.06 ERA in 51 outings…Began the season with Double-A Jacksonville appearing in 18 games for the Suns going 1-0 with a 4.44 ERA (26.1 IP, 13 ER)…Held opponents to just a .232 batting average (22-95)…Promoted to Triple-A New Orleans on May 30th where he went 2-3 with a 3.86 ERA (51.1 IP, 22 ER) in 33 appearances…Struck out a season high in a game against Omaha on July 25th… Prevented 17 of 21 (81%) inherited runners to score…Ranked second among Marlins minor leaguers with 51 appearances and had the most innings pitched by a reliever…Claimed off of waivers following the season by the Seattle Mariners on November 10th. 
2013: Made his major league debut in June after beginning the season at Double-A Jacksonville. Began the 2013 campaign with Double-A Jacksonville going 4-2 with a 1.27 ERA (50.1 IP, 14 ER) in 38 appearances…Earned his first career save pitching 0.1 innings on May 17th at Mississippi…Allowed just three earned runs in 28.1 innings pitched before his promotion…Had his contract selected by Miami and made his major league debut, June 3 at Philadelphia, allowing no runs in 1.1 innings…Made five appearances with the Marlins, going 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA…Earned his first major league strikeout in his last appearance with the Marlins, striking out John Jay on June 15th vs St. Louis…Optioned back to Jacksonville June 17 where he remained the rest of the season…Allowed just one homer in 38 minor league appearances…Went 2-1 with one save and a 1.44 ERA (4 ER, 25.0 IP) in 19 road outings compared to 2-1 with a 3.55 ERA (10 ER/25.1 IP) in 19 home games.
2012: Went 1-6 with a 3.74 ERA in 33 games (14 starts) between Single-A Jupiter and Double-A Jacksonville...Went 1-5 with a 4.46 ERA in the first half as a starter before posting a 2.16 ERA in the second half as a reliever…Posted a 0.71 ERA (1 ER, 12.2 IP) in his final eight appearances of the season with Jacksonville…Was added to the Marlins 40-Man roster, November 20.
PERSONAL: Edgar Olmos was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the third round of the 2008 MLB draft…Prior to turning professional he pitched at Birmingham High School (CA) where he was an All-City selection…In the offseason he runs triathlons to stay in shape…In 2012 Beach Blast Triathlon in San Diego he finished 38th overall (out of 148) and 11th in the 20-29 age group…Beach Blast consisted of a 500-meter out-and-back swim, a three-lap bike ride, around San Diego's Fiesta Island (12.3 miles total) and a 5K run.
