Drafted by the Florida Marlins in the in the 49th round of the 2009 Draft from Meridian Community College (Meridian, Miss) and in the 41st round of the 2008 Draft from Mangham HS (Mangham, La.) but did not sign either time... had his contract purchased from the Washington Wild Things of the independent Frontier League on May 29, 2011 by the Milwaukee Brewers... in 2011, he made three relief appearances with the Washington Wild Things of the independent Frontier League before signing a contract with the Brewers... went a combined 2-2 with a 3.03 ERA (32 2/3 IP, 11 ER) and six saves between Rookie-level Helena and Class A Wisconsin... held Pioneer League opponents to a .216 batting average and limited Midwest League opponents to a .179 BA... graduated with an associate degree from Meridian Community College... received a 50-game suspension after a second positive test for a drug of abuse in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program on May 21, 2013 while with Double-A Huntsville.
