2019
♦ Spent time with Double-A Bowie, Class-A Aberdeen and Triple-A Norfolk, combining to hit .233 with five home runs, 51 hits and 24 RBI over 63 games.
♦ Began the season in Double-A Bowie. Went on the Injured List on 6/3 and did not return to action until 7/4. Batted .206 with 33 hits and 17 RBI while in Bowie.
♦ Tied a career-high with three runs scored in a 19-4 win at Erie on 5/25.
♦ Threw out 10 attempted basestealers in May for Bowie, which tied for the most in the Eastern League during that timespan.
♦ Made five rehap appearances at Single-A Aberdeen. Tallied two hits and three RBI in 16 at bats before returning to Double-A Bowie on 7/11.
♦ Joined Norfolk on 8/2 and spent the rest of the season with the Tides, batting .372 with three doubles and four RBI over 12 games.  
♦ Hit safely in all 12 games with the Tides, establishing a new career-best. 


2018
♦ Spent the entire season with Double-A Bowie, hitting .258 with 15 home runs, 22 doubles and 60 RBI in 97 games.
♦ Named to the Eastern League Midseason All-Star Team (went 0-1 with a walk in the game).
♦ Chosen as the catcher on MiLB.com's Orioles Organizational All-Star Team.
♦ His 15 home runs ranked third on the Baysox and were the 5th-most by an O's farmhand.
♦ Threw out 29.2% of attempted basestealers (28-96), a mark that ranked 7th among,qualifying Eastern League backstops.
♦ Named Eastern League Player of the Month for July after hitting .364 (24-66) with five doubles, seven home runs, 25 RBI, 11 runs scored and a .436 on-base percentage.  
♦ Belted two home runs on 7/1 at Erie, his first career multi-homer game. Also homered in consecutive games on 7/15-7/16, 7/22-7/23 and 9/1-9/3. 
♦ Registered five consecutive multi-hit games from 7/22 - 7/29, a stretch in which he hit .667 (10-15) with two home runs and 10 runs batted in. 
♦ Hit .212 (with a home run, and nine RBI in 14 games for Glendale in the Arizona Fall League.


2017
♦ Spent the season with the Class-A Lynchburg Hillcats in the Cleveland organization, batting .278 with eight home runs, 24 doubles and 57 RBI in 112 games. 
♦ Ranked 8th in the Carolina League with a .278 average, a mark that ranked 7th among Indians minor leaguers.
♦ Set career-highs in games (112), at-bats (400), runs (59), doubles (24), triples (4), home runs (8), RBI (57) and walks (42).
♦ Registered 34 multi-hit games, including five games with three hits.
♦ Threw out 40% of attempted basestealers (16 caught stealing in 40 attempts).


2016
♦ Spent the season in the Cleveland organization, where he split time between the Class-A Lynchburg Hillcats (four games) and the Class-A Lake County Captains (92 games).
♦ Between the two levels, combined to hit .272 with six home runs and 50 RBI.
♦ Set a career-high with five RBI, 4/24 at Lansing.
♦ Had a career-high nine-game hitting streak from 5/22 - 6/9.
♦ Batted .336 (37-110) with one home run and 12 RBI in 29 games in August.


2015
♦ Spent the entire season with Class-A Lake County in the Indians system, batting .184 with one home run and 15 RBI in 49 games.

♦ Led New York-Penn League catchers with 339 putouts. Also ranked 6th in the NYPL by throwing out 34% of attempted basestealers (17-50).

 

PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore from the San Francisco Giants in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 Draft on 12/14/17.
♦ Originally signed by Cleveland as a non-drafted free agent at the age of 16 on 1/24/09. Is a product of the Major League Baseball European Baseball Academy.
♦ Is currently the only Czech-born player in affiliated baseball. He would be the first Czech-born player (and fourth total) to reach the Major Leagues since 1952. Previous Czech-born players include PH Carl Linhart (1952), 1B Frank Rooney (1914) and 3B John Stedronsky (1879). Hugo Bezdek, who managed the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1917-1919, is the only Czech-born manager in MLB history.
