2018: Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Tacoma in the Mariners system, hitting .247 with six home runs, 14 doubles and 51 RBI in 109 games... Ranked among Tacoma leaders in games (2nd, 109), at-bats (2nd, 385) and hits (3rd, 95)... Matched a career-high with four RBI, 4/29 at Fresno (3-5 with a grand slam)... Set career-highs in home runs (6) and RBI (51)... Recorded 24 multi-hit games, including four different three-hit contests... Posted a .973 fielding percentage in 93 games at shortstop (9 errors, 334 total chances)... Had his contract selected by Seattle on 7/30. Appeared in one game for the Mariners, going 2-4 with an RBI on 8/1 vs. Houston before being optioned to Tacoma on 8/2. Was designated for assignment by Seattle on 8/21 and outrighted to Tacoma on 8/24.

Attended Pepperdine University, where he was the 2012 recipient of the Brooks Wallace Award, given to the nation's top collegiate shortstop by the Collegiate Baseball Hall of Fame... Named the West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was All-WCC First Team during his junior season (2012) at Pepperdine... Graduated in 2009 from Saugus High School (CA), where he batted .428 during his career... Competed internationally for the United States national youth baseball team in 2007, helping the squad win the World Youth Baseball Championship (played in Venezuela).
