2016 Highlights
Played for five different teams in the Orioles system, highlighted by his first two appearances at the big league level...Opened the year in Bowie's rotation, going 1-1 with a 5.13 ERA (23 ER, 40.1 IP) over his first eight games (seven starts)...Suffered a left rib injury and was placed on Bowie's disabled list, May 26...Rehabbed with the GCL Orioles and Class-A Aberdeen before being activated from the disabled list on July 14...Joined Bowie's bullpen upon his return from the disabled list, registering five straight scoreless outings from July 20-31...Notched his first career save, July 31 at Akron...Promoted to Norfolk on August 15 and appeared in one game before being promoted to Baltimore on August 21...Made his MLB debut on August 21 vs. Houston, striking out Evan Gattis for his first big league punchout...Appeared in two games with Baltimore before being optioned back to Norfolk on August 27...Earned first Triple-A victory after throwing 2.1 shutout innings of relief, August 30 at Gwinnett...In four relief outings with Norfolk (10.0 IP), held IL batters to a .121 average (4-33) with 14 strikeouts and one walk...Enters 2017 rated as the #15 prospect in the Orioles system by MLB.com.

2014: Spent entire season with Class-A Frederick, where he ranked 2nd in the Carolina League with 142 strikeouts... His 142 strikeouts also ranked third among Orioles minor leaguers...Ranked among Carolina League leaders in walks (3rd, 70), starts (4th, 26), innings pitched (5th, 141.2) and opponents batting average (5th, .234)...Rated second among CL starters with 9.02 strikeouts per 9.0 IP...Named Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 12-19 after allowing one hit and two walks while striking out eight over 8.1 shutout innings in a win vs. Potomac, May 13. Took a no-hitter into the 9th inning of that contest before allowing a one-out single to Tony Renda...Struck out a season-high 13 and carried a perfect game into the 7th inning at Potomac on August 25 before again yielding a single to Tony Renda - this time with one out in the seventh frame...Pitched for Glendale in the Arizona Fall League after the season, posting a 7.94 ERA (10 ER, 11.1 IP) while holding opponents to a .209 avg. (9-43)...Without his outing on 11/5 at Mesa (6 ER, 0.1 IP), his ERA in the AFL would have been 3.27 (4 ER, 11.0 IP). 
2013: Finished second in the South Atlantic League with 144 strikeouts, the most by a Shorebirds pitcher since 2009…Led the SAL in innings pitched (142.2)…Named SAL Pitcher of the Week (August 12-18).
2012: Tied for the team lead for Class-A Delmarva in innings (114.1) and games started (22)...Pitched a one-hit complete game at West Virginia on July 21…Did not allow a run and struck out six to earn a victory vs. Greenville on April 26.
2011: Named the O's No. 4 prospect after the season by Baseball America...Led Aberdeen in games started (11), innings pitched (53.2) and strikeouts (57)…Finished the year 2-5 with a 4.53 ERA (27 ER, 53.2 IP).
2010: Made his first professional start August 24 against the GCL Red Sox…Was promoted to Aberdeen on August 31 and made his first appearance with the IronBirds on September 2 at Connecticut…Struck out multiple batters in three of his four appearances.
PERSONAL: Parker Alan Bridwell was selected by Baltimore in the 9th round of the 2010 draft out of Hereford (TX) High School, where he played baseball, football and basketball...Committed to play at Texas Tech before being selected by the Orioles in the 2010 draft...Was Hereford's starting quarterback, and was also named to the Amarillo Globe-News Super Team as a punter...Averaged 12.1 points and 6.3 rebounds a game for Hereford basketball during his senior season...Is just the second player to ever play baseball professionally out of Hereford (TX) High School, following pitcher Edward Mims, who pitched in the Houston system from 1969-1974.
