2016 Highlights
• Split the season between the Red Sox and Angels systems, combining to hit .181 with eight home runs and 27 RBI
• Opened the year with Triple-A Pawtucket, where he hit .125 with two home runs and four RBI in 24 games
• Started for the Pawsox on Opening Day vs. Buffalo, homering in a 2-0 Pawtucket victory
• Assigned to Double-A Portland on May 16 and appeared in 40 games for the Seadogs, hitting .185/.296/.308
• Homered in back-to-back games, May 23 and May 24 at Harrisburg

PERSONAL: Sean Edward Coyle was signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent on 12/15/16...Originally selected by Boston in the 3rd round of the 2010 draft out of Germantown Academy (PA)...Hit .562 with 55 RBI, 22 steals and a school record 13 home runs as a high school senior in 2010...Hit .296 in eight games for USA Baseball's 18-and-under team during the squad's gold-medal run at the Pan American Games in 2009...His brother, Tommy Coyle, was selected by Tampa Bay in the 16th round of the 2012 June Draft.
