2019
♦ Split the season between Triple-A New Orleans (35 games) and Miami (43 games). 
♦ Opened the year at New Orleans, hitting .247 with two home runs and 12 RBI. 
♦ Registered his first stolen base in four years, 4/6 vs. Round Rock. 
♦ Threw out 11 of 29 attempted basestealers (37.9%) with New Orleans.
♦ Had his contract selected on 5/24 and spent the remainder of the year with Miami, where he hit .278 with four home runs, six doubles and 12 RBI. 
♦ Hit .351 (13-37) with seven RBI for Miami during the month of June. 
♦ Finished a triple short of hitting for the cycle, 9/17 at Arizona.

2018

♦ Caught nine consecutive baserunners attempting to steal between 4/8-6/14, the longest streak in Marlins club history. Finished sixth in the NL with 15 caught stealing. Of MLB catchers with 15-or-more caught stealings, was only player with less than 76 games played. 
♦ Ranked third in Major Leagues with a 44.7% caught-stealing percentage (min. 10 attempts).
♦ Picked up first career MLB walk-off hit on 7/9 at Milwaukee (10th inning single). Added a second walk-off hit (double) on 8/11 vs. the New York Mets (first as a pinch hitter).
♦ Made two pitching appearances in relief, both at Philadelphia (4/7 and 9/14). Tossed 1.0 scoreless inning with a strikeout in first outing versus the Phillies. 


2017
♦ Signed as a minor league free agent by Detroit on 3/31 after attending spring training with Philadelphia (released by the Phillies on 3/27). 
♦ Spent majority of the season with Triple-A Toledo, where he hit .269 with 20 doubles, 12 home runs and 50 RBI over 93 games. 
♦ Named a Tigers Organizational All-Star by MiLB.com. 
♦ Clubbed a grand slam and matched his career-best with four RBI, 4/27 vs. Charlotte. 
♦ Had two different four-hit games: 5/20 at Indianapolis and 7/27 vs. Pawtucket. 
♦ Registered 15 RBI over his final 16 games with Toledo. 
♦ Made 13 appearances with Detroit - all in September. Recorded a pinch-hit single in his first at-bat with Detroit, 9/1 vs. Cleveland.

♦ Traded by Detroit to Texas on 3/26 for C Bobby Wilson and RHP Myles Jaye.

♦ Tied MLB career-highs with three hits and three RBI, 5/10 vs. the Chicago White Sox. 
♦ Made first pro pitching appearance, throwing 1.1 perfect innings on 7/2 at Minnesota.
♦ Spent nearly one month on the disabled list with a bruised left thumb.
♦ Claimed by Boston off of waivers on 8/5. Appeared in 14 games with the Red Sox, hitting .212 with one double and one RBI.

♦ Originally drafted by Detroit in the sixth round of the 2010 draft.
♦ Attended Texas Christian University, where he was named All-Mountain West in three seasons with the Horned Frogs. Batted over .300 in three seasons with TCU (.311 in 2008, .300 in 2009 and .355 in 2010). Won the 2010 Coleman Company-Johnny Bench Award, given to the top catcher in all of NCAA baseball. Helped TCU to the NCAA College World Series in 2010, where they advanced to the semifinal round before losing to UCLA.
