Rated by Baseball America as the best defensive outfielder in the Padres organization entering the 2012 season. ... Named the Padres' 2011 Minor League Defensive Player of the Year... before college, he hit .391 and stole 31 bases his senior season at Lawton High School in Lawton, Oklahoma, was named Lawton's Most Oustanding Athlete his senior season...
