Selected by the Texas Rangers in the first round (No. 49 overall) of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Connecticut... he was named to the Carolina League's postseason All-Star game in 2011... Baseball America named Olt the best defensive third baseman in the Rangers' system... made his Major League debut on Aug. 2, 2012 at age 23 and went on to bat .152 (5-for-33) with a double and five RBI in 16 games... traded by the Texas Rangers with a player to be named later (Neil Ramirez on Aug. 23, 2013), C.J.
