2017: Spent the season with Double-A Hartford in the Colorado system, going 9-7 with a 4.28 ERA in 33 games (15 starts)... His nine victories tied for fifth among Colorado Minor Leaguers... Went 4-2 with a 3.44 ERA in 18 relief appearances and 5-5 with a 4.66 ERA in 15 starts... Went 7-1 with a 3.04 ERA (17 ER, 50.1 IP) in 10 games (eight starts) after the All-Star break... Yielded just 21 walks in 109.1 innings pitched, walking one batter or less in 30 of his 33 appearances... Selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 35th round of the 2010 Draft but did not sign... Attended the University of Arizona, where he helped pitch the Wildcats to the 2012 NCAA Championship... Was named to the 2012 College World Series All-Tournament Team after complete game victories over UCLA and South Carolina...
