2017: Spent the season with Double-A Hartford in the Colorady system, going 9-7 with a 4.28 ERA in 33 games (15 starts)... His nine victories tied for fifth among Colorado minor leaguers... Went 4-2 with a 3.44 ERA in 18 relief appearances and 5-5 with a 4.66 ERA in 15 starts... Went 7-1 with a 3.04 ERA (17 ER, 50.1 IP) in 10 games (eight starts) after the All-Star break... Yielded just 21 walks in 109.1 innings pitched, walking one batter or less in 30 of his 33 appearances... Posted a 1.45 ERA in six games (three starts) during the month of July, holding Eastern League batters to a .161 average

PERSONAL: Konner James Wade was acquired in a trade with Colorado, in exchange for international bonus slot money, 11/22/17...Originally selected by Colorado in the 7th round of the 2013 draft...Was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 35th round of the 2010 draft but did not sign...Attended the University of Arizona, where he helped pitch the Wildcats to the 2012 NCAA Championship...Was named to the 2012 College World Series All-Tournament Team after a pair of complete game victories over UCLA and South Carolina...Went 4-0 with a 1.29 ERA over four starts in NCAA postseason play during the Wildcats title run...Was a teammate of fellow O's farmhands Joey Rickard and Lucas Long at Arizona...Was a 2013 Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American (2nd Team)...Graduated from Chaparral High School (AZ), the same school that produced former MLB All-Star Paul Konerko...Named Second Team All-State by the Arizona Republic as a senior in high school.
