2014: In 26 starts during his first full season at the Triple-A level, he went 5-11 with a 4.61 ERA...Over his final seven starts, he went 4-2 with a 0.95 ERA (5 ER, 47.1 IP), 35 hits allowed, 37 strikeouts and eight walks; He held opposing batters to a .202 average over that span... Did not allow an earned run over his final three starts, over which he allowed two unearned runs on eight hits and six walks while striking out 24 over 22.2 innings...Ended the season by not allowing an earned run over his final 24.2 innings (August 10 - August 29), a stretch that is just 2.0 innings shy of matching the Tides franchise record of 26.2 innings, set by LHP Royce Ring in 2006...Took a no-hitter into the ninth inning on August 21 at Durham; The Bulls got their first hit of that contest on a two-out, two-strike double by Mikie Mahtook, one batter after Tides shortstop Alexi Casilla made a throwing error that allowed the game to continue... 2013: Spent the majority of the season with Double-A Bowie before making his Triple-A debut with Norfolk on the final day of the regular season...Named as the Orioles Jim Palmer Minor League Pitcher of the Year...Ranked among Orioles minor leaguers in wins (T-1st, 11), strikeouts (2nd, 138) and ERA (3rd, 3.11)...Named to the Eastern League midseason All-Star team and picked up Game MVP honors after tossing a scoreless first inning...Ranked among Eastern League leaders in winning percentage (T-1st, .786), ERA (2nd, 3.26), wins (T-4th, 11), strikeouts per 9 IP ratio (5th, 8.52) and strikeouts (6th, 136)...Won six straight decisions from April 19 to May 21...Struck out a season-high 10 (in 6.0 innings) on July 26 against Erie...Turned in nine straight Quality Starts from July 6 to August 2, going 5-0 with a 1.99 ERA (13 ER, 58.2 IP), 58 strikeouts and eight walks over that span...Promoted to Norfolk on September 2 and made his Triple-A debut that day vs. Durham, tossing 6.2 shutout innings...Rated by Baseball America as the #8 prospect in the Orioles system following the year, and rated by the same publication as having the Best Slider among Orioles farmhands.
2012: Split the season between Class-A Frederick and Double-A Bowie...Went 6.0 or more innings in six of eight starts with the Keys...Had three outings of 6.0 scoreless innings or more with Frederick (April 8 vs. Salem, May 6 at Carolina and May 18 at Salem)...Held lefties to a .222/.250/.278 line in the Carolina League ...Was tied for the league lead with five wins at the time of his promotion to Double-A...Dropped first three decisions with Bowie before earning five straight victories to close the season...Held right-handers to a .250 average against in the Eastern League...Played for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League following the season.
