Selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 30th round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft out of Brookwood (Ga.) High School. ... Batted .400 with six homers, 27 RBIs, 32 runs scored and 12 stolen bases as a high school senior in 2011. Moore started the 2013 season with Single-A Greenville (24 Games) before moving to Lowell (57 Games) on May 13 … Moore had an 11-game hit streak from August 4 to August 20 at a .308 clip (12-for-39,2 2B, 3B, HR, 5 RBI) … He played his first two professional seasons primarily with the Gulf Coast League Red Sox … In 2012, he spent the majority of the year with the Gulf coast League Red Sox where he placed among league leaders in Runs (T-third, 33) and Walks (second, 32) … Also ranked among league leaders in game appearances (third, 50), At-bats (fourth, 175), Hits (third, 44), Triples (third, 2), RBIs (third, 24), Total Bases (fourth, 63) and Stolen Bases (T-third, 7) … Later that year, Moore was promoted to Lowell on August 30 playing in seven games … In 2011, Moore played 15 games with his first homerun coming on August 13 against the GCL Twins.
