Selected by the Minnesota Twins in the fourth round of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft out of Georgia Tech. ... As a sophomore at Georgia Tech, went 4-1 with eight saves, a 1.26 ERA, 64 strikeouts and 29 walks while holding opponents to a .197 batting average in 31 appearances. His 1.26 ERA was the second-best single-season mark in school history. ... In 54 career appearances, including one start, at Georgia Tech he went 6-1, 2.91 ERA with 81 strikeouts and 49 walks. ... Was a three-year letterwinner in baseball and a four-year letterwinner in football at Buford (Ga.) High School, where he was 6-2 with a 1.29 ERA and 102 strikeouts over 65 innings as a senior. ...
