2016 Highlights
Spent the year with Double-A Bowie, going 6-10 with a 4.73 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 24 starts...Tied for the Baysox lead with 24 games started and ranked second on the club with 123.2 innings pitched...Posted a 2.84 ERA (22 ER, 69.2 IP) in 13 starts at home and was 6-4 with a 3.83 ERA (38 ER, 89.1 IP) in 17 starts at night...Tossed first career complete game in game one of a doubleheader on May 24 at Hartford (L, 6.0 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 K)...Over a four-start span from June 4-25, he went 3-0 with a 1.57 ERA (4 ER, 23.0 IP) and 16 strikeouts...Recalled to Baltimore for two days (July 9-10) but did not appear in a game before being optioned back to Bowie...Pitched to a 2.64 ERA (9 ER, 30.2 IP) with 17 strikeouts over six starts in August...Enters 2017 rated as the #22 prospect in the Orioles system according to
