♦ Attended spring training with the Cubs before being released on 3/24. Signed with the Dodgers as a free agent on 3/26.
♦ Spent the majority of the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he went 3-6 with a 6.49 ERA in 20 games (16 starts). Also made three starts at Double-A Tulsa, posting a 0.96 ERA.

♦ Went 26-4 with a 0.71 ERA and 299 strikeouts during his Calallen High School (TX) career, including a 17-1 record with a 0.20 ERA and 198 strikeouts during his senior year. Helped Calallen to a state championship in 2008 and a state runner-up in 2010. Was a teammate of former Tides RHP Logan Verrett during the 2008 season.
