2019
♦ Attended spring training with the Cubs before being released on 3/24. Signed with the Dodgers as a free agent on 3/26.
♦ Spent the majority of the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he went 3-6 with a 6.49 ERA in 20 games (16 starts). Also made three starts at Double-A Tulsa, posting a 0.96 ERA.
♦ Matched his career-high with 10 strikeouts, 5/4 at New Orleans.
♦ Allowed three earned runs or less in 13 of his 20 appearances with Oklahoma City. 
♦ Had three stints on the Inactive List (6/5-6/16, 6/28-7/6, 8/21-8/31).

2017

♦ Pitched a Major League career-high 4.0 innings in two games, on 5/6 vs the Yankees (allowed three runs) and on 9/9 vs Milwaukee (allowed five earned runs on six hits).
♦ Allowed two runs or more in each of his four outings with the Cubs on the season.
♦ Spent 5/16-7/25 on the disabled list with a back injury. Made three rehab starts with the Arizona League Cubs (R), allowing one earned run over 8.2 innings in three starts.
♦ Had best start at Triple-A on 7/25 at El Paso, allowing one run on three hits in 6.0 innings. 


2016
♦ Split season between Double-A Tennessee, Triple-A Iowa and Chicago. Posted a 1.13 ERA in eight games (one start) with the Cubs.
♦ Made MLB debut on 8/19 at Colorado, striking out the first batter he faced (Charlie Blackmon). Worked a scoreless inning in that contest (1.0 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 1 K). Became the first Cubs pitcher drafted under Theo Epstein to make the Major Leagues. 
♦ Credited with first MLB win on 8/29 vs Pittsburgh, allowing one run in 1.0 innings.
♦ Made first MLB start, 9/29 at Pittsburgh. Allowed one unearned run and two hits over 3.2 innings while striking out four Pirates.
♦ Posted a 3-0 record with a 2.25 ERA in final four outings with Triple-A Iowa before being promoted to Chicago. 
♦ Named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for the week of 8/1 - 8/7 after going 2-0 with zero earned runs allowed over a two-start stretch (11.0 IP).

♦ Registered a season-high nine strikeouts twice: 7/9 at Clearwater and 8/26 at Dunedin.
♦ Ranked 6th in the Florida State League with 110 strikeouts. Also tied for 16th in the FSL with 23 starts. 


2013
♦ In his first pro action, went 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA over 11 games (seven starts) between Class-A Boise and Class-A Kane County. 
♦ Registered 22 strikeouts and eight walks over 24.0 innings of work.

♦ Signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent on 11/18/19.
♦ Selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 2nd round (41st overall pick) of the 2013 draft. 
♦ Attended the University of Missouri, where he finished his career ranked 8th on the Tigers program list with 228 career strikeouts. 
♦ Went 26-4 with a 0.71 ERA and 299 strikeouts during his Calallen High School (TX) career, including a 17-1 record with a 0.20 ERA and 198 strikeouts during his senior year. Helped Calallen to a state championship in 2008 and a state runner-up in 2010. Was a teammate of former Tides RHP Logan Verrett during the 2008 season.
