2014: In 135 games between Bowie and Norfolk, hit .306 with 15 home runs, 37 doubles and 87 RBI...Tied for 15th in Minor League Baseball with 164 hits...Opened the season with the Baysox before joining the Tides after the All-Star break (July 17)...At the time of his promotion to Norfolk, he ranked among Eastern League leaders in hits (1st, 111), RBI (3rd, 68) and average (8th,.309)...Named to the Eastern League midseason and postseason All-Star Teams... Represented the Orioles in the MLB Futures Game, going 0-for-2 in the contest for the World Team during the All-Star festivities in Minnesota...Opened the year by hitting safely in each of Bowie's first 15 games, over which he hit .328 (20-61) with one home run, seven doubles and 13 RBI... Put together a career-high 17-game hitting streak with Norfolk from August 11-28, a stretch that was tied for the fourth-longest in the International League in 2014.
