2017: Spent the year in Double-A Bowie and appeared in 31 games (14 starts) for the Baysox... Posted a 2.95 ERA (42 ER, 128.1 IP) with five saves, 106 strikeouts and 33 walks... Named an Eastern League Midseason All-Star after posting a 2.10 ERA in 21 games (four starts) over the first half... Ranked among Orioles minor leaguers in ERA (3rd, 2.95), wins (T-3rd, 9) and strikeouts (7th, 106)... His 2.95 ERA ranked third in the Eastern League, while his 1.22 WHIP tied for fourth in the circuit... Registered two complete games (7.0 IP, 5/5 at Richmond; 6.0 IP, 6/25 at Erie); the two CGs tied for third in the EL... Held Eastern League right-handers to a .194 average (49-253) and a .234 on-base percentage... Posted a 1.90 ERA (10 ER, 47.1 IP) and a .217 opponents average in 17 relief appearances... 2016: Spent the majority of his season with Class-A Frederick, where he was 7-7 with a 4.27 ERA in 24 starts...Ranked 2nd in the Carolina League in Lowest BB-IBB/9 IP ratio (2.17) and 4th in Highest SO/9 IP ratio (7.83)... Got his first win of the year after going 8.0 innings allowing four hits with one walk and striking out eight against Wilmington on 5/10... Struck out a career-high 11 against Salem on 7/24... Opened the year with Class-A Delmarva, where he posted a 0.50 ERA (1 ER, 18.0 IP) and held South Atlantic League batters to a .159 average. 
2015: Spent the year with Class-A Delmarva where he pitched in 11 games (eight starts) for the Shorebirds... Was 2-4 with a 4.91 ERA (24 ER, 44.0 IP) and 35 strikeouts... Was perfect in his first appearance going 3.0 innings without allowing a hit, run, or walk... Held batters to a .111 average with RISP and two outs (2-18).
2014: Started his professional career with the GCL Orioles where he was 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA (4 ER, 16.0 IP) in six games (two starts)... Walked just one batter during his time with the GCL Orioles... Also appeared in five games (five starts) with Class-A Aberdeen... Posted a 9.00 ERA (17 ER, 17.0 IP) and 0-4 record in his stint with Aberdeen.
PERSONAL: Lucas Edward Daniel Long was selected by Baltimore in the 24th round of the 2014 draft...Was drafted out of the University of San Diego... Spent his freshman year at the University of Arizona where he was part of their National Champioinship team with Orioles farmhands Joey Rickard and Konner Wade... Graduated high school from the Academy of Holy Angels (MN) where he had a 1.20 ERA and 81 strikeouts and received All-State honors.
