♦ Split the year between Triple-A Pawtucket and Boston. Went 3-4 with six saves and a 4.60 ERA in 40 games with Pawtucket and 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA in 16 games (three starts) over five different stints with Boston.

♦ Attended The Ohio State University, where he posted a 3.75 ERA and recorded 84 strikeouts for the Buckeyes in 2015.
♦ Spent the 2014 summer playing for the Chillicothe Paints in the Prospect League, where he he threw the first-ever perfect game in Prospect League history.
♦ Graduated from Franklin High School (OH), where he was a three-time All-Conference first team selection and was league Player of the Year twice. Went 10-3 with 100 strikeouts while hitting .488 during his junior season.
